She played in three FIH Women’s Hockey World Cups and was a key contributor to the 1994 World Cup Bronze Medal, one of the most significant podium finishes for the U.S. program in a critical era. She also earned medals at the Pan American Games and Champions Trophy, and was selected as an alternate to the 1996 Olympic Games.
Her competitive foundation was set at Old Dominion University, one of the most dominant programs in NCAA history, where she became a three-time NCAA National Champion, All-American, and the 1992 Virginia NCAA Woman of the Year—an honor recognizing excellence not only in athletics, but in academics, leadership, character, and service. These standards would define every chapter of her career.
A defining moment came during the opening match of the 1994 World Cup, when Pam made a goal-line defensive save late in the match to preserve a historic victory over England—a team the U.S. had not beaten in decades.
