Game Six Investments (GSI) is grounded in a leadership ethos forged at the highest levels of competitive performance. Founder and President, Pam Stuper brings a lifetime of experience in environments where preparation, composure, teamwork, and execution under pressure are not ideals—they are requirements.

Pam represented the U.S. Women’s National Team for nearly a decade (1990–1998), competing at the highest level of international sport. She played in three FIH Women’s Hockey World Cups and was a key contributor to the 1994 World Cup Bronze Medal, one of the most significant podium finishes for the U.S. program in a critical era. She also earned medals at the Pan American Games and Champions Trophy, and was selected as an alternate to the 1996 Olympic Games.

Her competitive foundation was set at Old Dominion University, one of the most dominant programs in NCAA history, where she became a three-time NCAA National Champion, All-American, and the 1992 Virginia NCAA Woman of the Year—an honor recognizing excellence not only in athletics, but in academics, leadership, character, and service. These standards would define every chapter of her career.

A defining moment came during the opening match of the 1994 World Cup, when Pam made a goal-line defensive save late in the match to preserve a historic victory over England—a team the U.S. had not beaten in decades. That moment shifted the momentum of the tournament and helped propel the team to its bronze medal finish. It was Pam’s personal “Game Six”: a moment where instinct, preparation, courage, and accountability converged when the outcome hung in the balance.

Pam’s career continued to reflect sustained excellence. She played in the Dutch Hoofdklasse, was inducted into both the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame and the Old Dominion University Hall of Fame, and later became one of the most respected coaches in collegiate athletics. As Head Coach at Yale University, she led the program to an Ivy League Championship, was named Mideast Region Coach of the Year, and became nationally recognized for building cultures of discipline, trust, and competitive resilience—helping athletes consistently exceed expectations.

Beyond the field, Pam’s leadership expanded into national nonprofit work. As Executive Director of the USA Field Hockey Foundation, she leads fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and long-term stewardship—building sustainable systems that support athletes and programs nationwide. Her work reflects deep expertise in relationship-building, strategic planning, and mission-driven leadership.

This same mindset now defines Game Six Investments.

Pam approaches real estate the way she approached elite competition: prepare thoroughly, respect the moment, lead calmly, and execute with integrity. Every property is seen not just as an asset, but as a potential to be restored, strengthened, and elevated. Every partnership is built on trust. Every decision is made with long-term consequences in mind.

Game Six Investments (GSI) is credible because its leadership has been tested under pressure, over time, and at the highest levels. The firm’s discipline, composure, and commitment to finishing strong are not branding concepts. They are lived experiences.

That is the ethos behind GSI.

John Stuper is a former Major League Baseball pitcher and respected leader whose career is defined by composure under pressure, competitive excellence, and an unwavering commitment to team success. Best known for his time with the St. Louis Cardinals, Stuper played a pivotal role in one of the most memorable championship runs in franchise history during the 1982 World Series.

In baseball, Game 6 is where legends are made—when everything is on the line and only belief, courage, and preparation can extend a team’s chance at a championship. In 1982, rookie pitcher John Stuper took the mound with the Cardinals trailing the Milwaukee Brewers three games to two. It was a win-or-go-home moment. What followed was not just a strong outing, but one of the most remarkable rookie performances in World Series history.

Stuper went the distance, pitching a complete game in a commanding 13–1 victory that forced a decisive Game 7. Despite enduring two rain delays that lasted longer than the game itself, he remained locked in—demonstrating poise, resilience, and elite execution through every interruption. His performance not only kept the Cardinals alive but preserved the bullpen, positioning the team for success in the final game of the series.

Equally important was the collective effort surrounding him. His teammates rallied with timely hitting, energy, and belief, turning Game 6 into a defining example of unity, perseverance, and team-first execution under pressure. The support of the St. Louis Cardinals faithful—widely regarded as some of the most passionate and knowledgeable fans in baseball—added another layer of intensity and inspiration to that historic night.

Stuper’s professional baseball journey also included time at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, where the Cardinals held spring training. That experience left a lasting impression, contributing to a deep personal connection to the city and its community—one that would later influence his family’s decision to make St. Petersburg their permanent home.

While his Game 6 performance stands as a hallmark of individual excellence, its broader legacy lies in what it represents: belief in the moment, trust in the team, and the ability to rise when it matters most. John Stuper’s story continues to resonate not just as a historic athletic achievement, but as a powerful example of how preparation, resilience, and collective effort define success at the highest level.
